Puralytics is a water purification company built on novel photochemical technology. In this semi-dramatic presentation, the company's Founder and CEO Mark Owen, assisted by his "Mad Scientist", demonstrates to the audience how their system removes from water a broad range of contaminants including organic compounds such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides, herbicides, petrochemicals, personal care products; heavy metals such as lead, mercury, arsenic, and selenium; and micro-organisms such as viruses, bacteria, protozoa and cysts.
Puralytics is the 2010 winner of Cleantech Open's National Award.
